I expect that you are now dutifully sipping some spirituous distillate, some Mirabelle may be? That will keep away the noxious effects on the breathing by the villain bacteria.

Perhaps, our friend Geoff might illustrate the reinvigorating effects on the respiratory system of good measures of Navy Rum (Jamaica) dissolved in hot water with brown sugar and a spoonful of butter, cinnamon and everything stirred with a red hot iron.

You being French can use Agricole. In that case go heavy with the sugar.

Sorry to disappoint you, my Italian friend, but I am quite sober at the moment, although not upright. I am thinking of some things I should do this afternoon, but they all require getting up from the sofa. Yuck.
