If you got KDXi, you don't need 2.3.2, you need 2.3.3. You can still download it from the links saved in Google Cache.

One word of advice. I would install the USB Networking before performing this upgrade. Chances are, the upgrade will not remove it, and you will keep the backdoor into your unit while the other poor upgraders will be hoping for a new jailbreak.

I have heard of US k2's getting it. For what it's worth just because there is no bin file to download, doesn't mean others dont have it but it seems to be tricky to be able to grab it in time. It doesn't sit on your kindle as an obvious file once the kindle has been upgraded.

Lots of K2I's have it. Doesn't matter whether in the US or Overseas. We just need the bin file from them.

Maybe a lot do, I don't. I have 2.3.3, and have had wireless on all day (sometimes I go weeks without turning it on. As a matter of fact, last time I turned it on was to update the clock) and I have even gone onto the kindle store, downloaded a bunch of samples and even a couple archieved items. I wish I still had the U.S version - my kindle 1 and sprint was a lot better than my K2i and AT&T. As a matter of fact, I had to download 2.3manually. I guess I will have to wait and do that for 2.5, also.

I thought I could distract myself by writing down tags for the 230 books on my kindle, and marking each with kindle, so I will be able to tell in Calibre what I already have on my kindle. All that is done - AND I AM STILL WAITING. I did notice my registration changed to April 20. Hopefully that means 2.5 is coming!

Hey Sydney's mom - re the date change - Amazon dont even know why that happened, but it doesnt have anything directly to do with the update. Sigh. When you get the update, the registration date disappears! I think on Mother's Day a download to everyone is in order. Or just put in on the damn website. Talk about creating the 'haves' and the 'have nots'.

With the collections, I am having a 'current read' so that folder will stay on top (its sorted by most recent read) and hope that means the collections stay in the same order. Thinking of having an 'All' category and use that folder to pull out the book I want to read next, so that folder will go second, and then hopefully all the other categories will stay the same order. But until I get it I am only guessing as to what works best.

I edited the meta-data for all the books in my Kindle library to pass the time >_<... still no 2.5 but IF I ever get it and the rest of humanity hasn't gotten it by then, I'll definitely post the bin...

Unfortunately - I have the US Kindle DX so it looks like I need 2.3.2 to make the upgrade to 2.5. I still have been unable to locate any links to the 2.3.2 bin file anywhere on the internet. Anybody?

My KDXi was on 2.3.4 and now is suddenly on 2.5 since last week, so yes i think my KDXi updated itself from 2.3.4 to 2.5 !

And by the way 2.5 rocks so badly. Tagging with a category is just last part of the puzzle which makes the kindle a perfect reading machine and zoom on PDF on the DX is AWSOM when it comes to reading not optimized PDF's

The last week i was playing around with my new iPad the whole time (natural nerd behaviour i think

) but after i realised i already got the 2.5 i am so back to my KDX reading my PDF collection that i nearly forgot to check my daily RSS feeds on the iPad
