help installing sigil

Hello everyone

I have been reading about ebook editors and found sigil. I downloaded the zip file and ran vcredlist_x86 from the installer directory. I got the installation finished message, but did not find any executale either on the desktop or anywhere else. I searched al the directories and found none.

I amprobably did not something or missing some steps. Any help is appreciated.

You downloaded the source code package. You don't need that. Download the Windows installer: the filename has "Windows" and "Setup" and ".exe" for the extension.

I'd give you a direct link but the GC server seems to be down currently.
