Reminds me of a line from Mel Brooks' "Robin Hood: Men in Tights" movie. When asked why anyone should believe he is the real Robin Hood, he responds with "Because I, unlike the others, have an English accent."

For all of you who don't know:

If something / someone from New Zealand is good / successful, Australia claims it as their own.

Unless New Zealand feels strongly about that something / someone, they don't put up much of a fight.

Now, Russell Crowe is New Zealand born and lives in Australia. As far as the Kiwis go, they can keep him. Me, I wonder if he wants to move to America.

Back to the movie: did we really need another one? Aren't there enough books out there that haven't been made into a movie yet? Mel Brooks version is entertaining, Sean Connery & Erol Flynn have taken care of Robin in the past. And somehow I doubt that Russell Crowe has the looks of either of them to make it a better movie. But then again, that's just me.

And I agree, enough with the remakes. I saw a commercial for the "Nightmare on Elm Street" remake and thought I was having a flashback!

Brisvegas will be fine with recluse's arrival. I will even drive down and pick him up at the airport and drop him off in Katti's Cat's shed.

I just bought an ebook reader. Huh? I was staring at the PRS300 on my screen, everything went black, and then POP, everything comes back and my screen says "Congratulations! You won this item." Weird, eh?

Robert Englund's Freddy Krueger was the only slasher I ever warmed to because he always killed with a smile. My favorite scene was from Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors, and featured Zsa Zsa Gabor and Dick Cavett in a cameo appearance. In this clip, the young girl watching the TV is hoping to be an actor one day.
