Thanks, beppe. I knew the Amazons were suppose to have cut off their right breast for thee sake of their archery skills, but that's the first time I've heard of them burning it off.

My alibi is my reader. Amazons are fascinating though. Once one girlfriended me for a while. She used to lift me in the air and sit me on her lap, all 220 lb of me and read from a book with the name Robert Cold or Frost on it or something like that. Then she cuddled me a little. Then she read a little more, a sip of cherry coke, than more cuddles, till I was too sore for more.
May be she was not an Amazon, but just a major in arts from CCNY.
