My best memory is Finland vs Russia 1996 in St Petersburg - wow what an atmosphere. The fans were fairly well behaved (could have been the beer consume that slowed us down) but the battle on the ice was epic.

I don't go to games anymore. Haven't gone since 1975, actually. I like watching the playoff games, when I can get them, and the Stanley Cup games. The energy is contagious, the best of the best playing. If they could only stop the damn refs from screwing up the flow of the games with bogus calls.

I was just checking some of the inboxes in some email accounts I rarely use, and was made aware of how important it can be to keep up with all of my e-mail. Today, in one inbox, I found the following important messages:

The Australian Lottery Board wrote to let me know that I had won $950,000.00 USD from the Australian Lottery.

Tina Diane wrote to tell me she loves me. (I feel kind of bad about that, because I don't recall ever meeting her.)

Mr. Edward Williams sent me an "Important message from the Federal Ministry of Finance."

And last but not least, Pembantu Tadbir wrote that he had some classified information for me. I assume Mr. Tadbir must be from the government. I should have written back to inform him that my email account isn't cleared for receiving classified information, but in my excitement at receiving such important and exciting emails, I accidentally deleted them all before I had a chance to read them.

Pity. I could have really used that $950,000.00!

Oh well.

I had a lovely day- made my constant anxiety fade away a bit. I went to see a movie and have lunch with one friend, and then I went for a nice walk, and read a little (sans children), then have dessert with another few friends. I was out of the house for about 8 hours, no kids. Of course, I came home to find out they had watched TV literally all day long. *sigh*

*anxiety is from a few decisions that must be made and figured out and Iʻm just having trouble with that... Iʻm not normally an anxious person

That's why I don't use email. I get enough of that garbage from the regular mail and over the phone.

The "I love you" one is your own fault. Flashing your picture around on the net. You'll be getting marriage offers from prisons next!
