I researched for months before finally deciding on the Pocketbook. My main concerns were page turn speed and then, when I heard about it, the page turn noise that I'd noticed on many of the videos available. The noise is nowhere near as bad in person as it is on those videos. It's not even as loud as a mouse click with my computer. I haven't installed the wrist page turn update yet, but I will be next week.

I can't imagine anyone not liking this device.
hi, am having trouble working out where you get books for this reader and whether there is a large and varied selection. No one seems to mention it. The other question I have is - what format are normal books in?

I haven't bought any books yet, most of what I read at the moment is fanfiction and free books.

You should pop over to the pocketbook forum and search the posts there or start your own if you can't find anything. Most of the common file/book formats are supported by the PB 360.

The PB360 supports Adobe DRM'ed ePubs so you can buy books from Fictionwise, Sony, Borders, and any of the dozens of Adobe ebook suppliers worldwide. Plus most of the libraries doing ebooks.

It is easier to list where it *can't* get ebooks: Amazon/Mobipocket, B&N, and anyplace still using eReader or MS Reader DRM.

Mind you, the best experience still comes with DRM-free ebooks but that is true of all ebook readers.
