For everyone, condolences and sympathies passing through the ether to you all.

DixieGal - stay strong and positive, my own lady was diagnosed with aggressive BC; now 5 years after surgery, chemo & radiotherapy, she's as lovely and healthy as normal .... the Consultant on Monday (just gone) was very pleased with her progress....

Prayers, positive energy, good karma, the force, hugs, well-wishes, beer, chocolate, more chocolate, happy thoughts, the kitchen sink - Throwing it all at you and more.

For what it's worth, you are definitely a highlight among this collection of voices and this outpouring of support is no surprise to me. Take heart in knowing that those that rally around you do so because you truly deserve it.

Thanks y'all. I plan on popping a couple of strong narcotics before the biopsies. Twelve holes drilled there seems to be a lot, IMHO.

You have my prayers DixieGal! Take care of yourself, body, mind & spirit! And know that you'll be surrounded by good thoughts, virtual hugs, and strong prayers! I like GeoffC's bit of encouragement too! My mom had BC ten years ago and is doing great! After two knee replacements, she's almost bionic!


And pshrynk... what a year you've had! Man, enough is enough already! I'm so sorry! (OTOH... just to clarify, "Enough is enough" never applies to chocolate!)

They do the biopsies andTHEN THEY TAKE YOU FOR MORE MAMMOGRAMS! Punch holes in it and then sqeeze it flat. What sort of monster invented that!?!?

It will probably be Monday before I know the results.
