They were good suggestions for the first few weeks. It's now been 6 and there are just as many to go.
Once done with triviality, the mind often goes to serious observations, to thoughts on insoluble problems, trying to better things.

There is some "good" in this world but we still live like insects, impervious to what our presence is causing the planet to suffer.
Instead of fixing the only spaceship we know, we're letting greed dictate us to go out and destroy other worlds, like locusts.
Selfishness is rampant and condoned because it fits with the frantic pace we're being subjected to. Keep the hamster running and he'll have no time to think on acting.
Just try stopping, you'll see...

If you say that I have too much time to think, then I say stop and try it! We might have a chance left then...

Couln't you try doing something? Like, write a book, or poems, or draw or paint... or take up meditation. No, I did not say medications

you know.. I think "save the planet" is a misnomer. No matter what happens the earth will survive. What people that say "save the planet" are really saying is "save the ability for the planet to maintain human's". After all... that is really the selfish goal of the "green" movement... as couched it is in words like "save the planet".

I think we should change the slogan... it may even get more peoples attention too:

Go Green... save the human race.

Or maybe "Maintain the status quo" or "Don't go Changing"

That's a good point Bob. I should have said: "Fix the wrong we've done to the life support systems."

The problem is that we're too greedy to change anything up to the point of pretending there's nothing wrong.

I don't know if I like that idea or not. When I see how strongly some Big Oil and Coal companies fight against any regulations that would benefit the environment, and how easily they are able to use their propaganda machine to enlist people into their cause to their own detriment; the idea of humanity's certain destruction is sometimes all that give me hope for the future of the Cosmos!

And who know? Should another species at our level of intelligence ever evolve again on planet Earth, they may learn from our errors!

You forgot vehicle makers, the notorious oil puppets...

I've been rooting for EVs since the early seventies and I still can't buy one here.

Oh why did I just say that! Itll get me angryer again...
