I hope somebody can help me. I have made a backup of my old firmware before upgrading to PRS+. I want to try something and would like to roll back to my original firmware (which contain some minor changes). How can I re-install the backed up firmware. It contains of:

1.2.00.18050.boot
1.2.00.18050.fsk
1.2.00.18050.root
1.2.00.18050.root2

I can't find any option in the PRS+ menu to restore the original firmware.

PRS+ installer's advanced menu allows you to flash Fsk and root partitions. (there normally no need to change boot/root2, not to mention, messing with those 2 partitions could brick your reader forever)

Replace 1.1.00.18040.root and Fsk.img files in PRSPInstaller\Sony Reader\software\firmware\505 folder. Generate md5 hash of those files (using this http://www.pc-tools.net/win32/md5sums/ or any other utility) and put it into corresponding .md5 files.

Then in expert menuÖ

Force flash Rootfs => will flash root partition
Force flash PRS+ Firmware => will flash Fsk partition

Good afternoon everyone. I was hoping someone might be able to point me in the right direction. The latest iteration of Enhanced Firmware has brought with it the ability to use .css to modify loaded epubs. Alas, I'm clueless about writing a style sheet for the epub format. Basically all I'm looking to do is have a very simple style sheet that would enable full justification. If anyone can point me in the right direction that would be fantastisch!

Unfortunately that's not possible. While it's possible to create such css, the EPUB viewer won't render it correctly.

PRS-900 is the only model this bug was fixed.

I have to ask - is there anything to help PRS-600 users with these kinds of mods? I am having zero luck finding any luck on or off of MobileRead forums.

There is very little work done on hacking PRS-600, mainly because it is a device that can be easily bricked. With PRS-505, the developer can easily revert to the default firmware and try again, but with PRS-600, a wrong step can easily get you a dead Reader that can't be fixed except by taking it apart and repairing it using custom-built hardware.

Regarding 600 model, port of "Browse Folders" feature is planned in foreseeable future.
I'll work on it after releasing "localized" version of PRS+ for 505. It's much harder than 505, as you can't do mistakes, but still doable.

No. Neither the Sony font, nor the Adobe font.

I'd put Czech symbols into Sony font, if you tell which symbols are missing and which font to use as a source.

If you use the PRS Customizer's Unicode fonts, they contain all necessary symbols.

These two sentences are traditionally used to test all required symbols:
