Cherrypal customer service: lies, ignored emails, and technical incompetence

I recall seeing a mention on the Cherrypal website about being hacked back in December and again in January. Is it just possible that there may be a connection between your order apparently being lost, his lack of correspondence with you, and... your missing billing?

So they get hacked on a monthly basis?

And they keep customer order info (including CC numbers?) on their website, within easy reach of hackers? All of their company records, apparently? Their only copy?

And they continue to do this even after the first hacking?

Why not take a chill pill and remake contact with Cherrypal.

He's tried.

Maybe he lost your info.

Reputable companies do not "lose" the info of numerous customers.

Their billing info, even if they left lying around on their website and some moronic hacker (instead of just quietly stealing it) destroyed it, would be available through their credit card clearinghouse; they'd just have to pull up a report and have all that they needed.

I get busy and forget all kinds of things, like right now I'm forgetting to go to sleep.

Reputable companies do not "get busy and forget all kinds of things" ... like shipping customers' orders, returning phone calls, answering emails, etc.

Remember, I started out in this discussion with no bias in favor of either side. I'm going solely on what I've read -- and on the behavior of the people involved. So far ... well, the Cherrypal shills' lips are moving.

Blah Blah you didn't answer my question so I'll try again. When you are happy with a product do you normally search the web looking for people complaining about the product so you can defend it? Or are you so extremely happy with Cherrypal that this is the first time you felt compelled to search for unhappy customers?

I was one of the few who offered "Hey, give them a chance" when this trainwreck first started after Christmas.

It has been FOUR MONTHS and instead of delivering products that people have already paid for, the company is still only offering excuses.

Oh Velcro, you have no idea of the magnitude of some of the mistakes I've made - I don't think laying hands on you gets anywhere near the top!

However, you will note - if you bothered to read my last post - that what I said was that I would be tempted to give you a slap. This is an expression of the way I feel about the way you have behaved on here. It is not a threat, an undertaking or a promise - no-one has a contract out on you.

If anyone ever does receive a Cherrypal, or gets a refund, or files a lawsuit, then I'm sure they would be happy to start a new thread.
