Be real careful with that weight loss. I did something similar some 20 years ago. It's not only fat you lose, it's also part of your musculature. I also fragilized my bone structure in the proccess. I recommend exercise, lots of it...

Not as impressive as it sounds. The more excess weight you have the easier it is to lose. The last 30 are going to be the hardest. I am over a year away from that I am sure.

I was going to suggest the suspenders as well! there is no age requirement for them! my ex wore them in his 30s! make a fashion statement out of them! match them to your ties if you wear them, or if you are just a jeans kind of guy get some really crazy ones!

Alternatively, perhaps you can find a local seamstress who can take them in at the seams a bit - that will work for a while, although you wouldn't want to do that more than a few inches.

If all else fails, some safety-pins?

It could be worse. I knew a guy years ago who was a competition body builder. He had three sets of clothing, for "off season", "in training" and "in competition" because his body went through significant changes as he geared himself up to compete. He had custom tailored suits, so you had to look close to realize he was built. I knew another chap back them who was also into body building, whop always wore short sleeved shirts because his biceps would split the seams on long sleeved ones.

My problem has always been the opposite. I'm an ectomorphic body type. I've always been a Charles Atlas "Before" ad. When I was a little kid, my parents went through agonies in attempts to put weight on me to match what the doctor's weight charts said I ought to weigh. It never worked...

I can't complain. The US still had the military draft when I came of age. I was called in for my first draft physical. My friends were offering advice like "Speed for three days before you go in! It'll mess up your metabolic readings and they won't take you!" No thanks. Don't like speed...

I went for the physical. I was 6' tall. I weighed 127 lbs. The minimum they would accept was 130. They said "You're 1Y. Come back in 6 months." I came back in 6 months. I was 6' tall. I weighed 127 lbs. They said "You're 1Y. Don't call us. We'll call you." They didn't, which is just as well, as in the next 6 months, I gained 8lbs.

I was too small a fish, and they tossed me back in the pool.

These days, I'm 6' tall and weigh about 145 lbs, and have for years. It doesn't matter what I do. My body decided that was what it wanted to weigh, and there it stays.

Some of my friends do joke that if I turn sideways, I disappear, but from my viewpoint, that's not a bug, it's a feature!

Be sure to put the hoop in the belt line so that the pants stick out from your body in an amusing way. The fright wig would be a good accoutrement, as well.
