Is It Okay To Let The Dog Watch Porn?

He seems to like it and I figure what can it hurt, he's fixed, so he ain't getting any. It's a good way for him to relieve stress and there's no way for him to live vicariously through me (46 years without physical human contact, and I'm still considered legally sane!). So far, he seems okay, although he has been flirting with his bed lately.

If he's fixed, he can't really relieve the stress, can he? It seems like it would be more stressful. He's probably watching it and feeling really depressed. It just sounds like torture to me-- like making him watch video of someone eating after they've had lap band surgury.

I guess the thing to be cautious of is escalation. Not all porn users escalate but some do, and I'm not sure we know enough about the use of porn amongst dogs to be able to pick up the warning signs. Maybe the flirting with his bed is just such a sign?

Can you maybe describe some of what he's watching to help us appreciate what he might be getting out of the experience and whether we need to worry about escalation?
