The tomato plants are getting big. The bushes are too. Darn it. Had to spend time trimming them and trying to put in some bermuda grass in the front patch that died in the heat last summer. Grass. What a waste of time and energy--unless you're a horse!!

About half of the potatoes I planted have sprouted. This morning I planted some more where they haven't and did a bit of weeding.

Yes, Helen you are welcome. My wife and I are wishing we'd had a morning/sun room built on our house, so we could turn it into sort of an indoor green house sort of room. In North-East Ohio that is about the only way we'll get anything tropical looking growing. That cats and lizard would love it too.
