You'll have wait a bit I think - if I remember correctly you need 10 posts and to have been a member for a week, then you'll get the option to add a signature from your User CP.

Anyway welcome, and happy "poking".

I believe that the option to have a signature only appears after a certain number of posts (10? 20?).

When it's there, you'll find it under "Settings and Options" in your User Control Panel ("User CP" on the blue bar).

Hi Lisa, welcome.

I checked and found this

"... to reduce the possibility of signature spam we added the restriction that a new member must have at least 10 posts and be registered for one week."


Just make the 5 posts that are missing and you will be able to add your signature. Do not be shy, just do it.

To post your 5 missing posts, you could pick some of the welcomes in this thread, click on the blue box on the right marked quote and write what you like, f.i. thank you, or whatever. You will see your post count, just under your picture, be updated automatically.

It is - massive that is. I can't get my head around all the places to go. A question: Am I allowed to post my own author thread? I did see some in one of the forums, but wasn't sure if it's frowned upon or not.
