I just made meatballs for the first time ever, and they didn't come out too bad! I'm inordinately pleased with myself. I still have over a pound of ground turkey (it was BOGO at the grocery store), so I'm going to look for another recipe and freeze a batch.

On that note, I kicked butt in the grocery store today. If you bought three items from a particular group, you get 20 cents off gas. Two of the items I bought I had coupons for (toilet paper and dishwasher detergent, who doesn't need more of that?) and the third was cereal. I also got another 10 cents off a gallon since I hit over $100 this quarter. THEN I had a coupon for $1 off Starbucks 5oz coffee, and for buying it today I got an additional $1 off my next grocery purchase. And to get rid of the eggs, I got 3 brownie mix things for $1 each, I'll whip those up and feed the office.

I should put on my apron to complete the whole feeling of awesome Suzie homemaker right now

Use my chili recipe...works great with ground turkey....

Awesome job. HOWEVER, you should be whipping up those brownies to feed the lounge and not the office.

Is it in the recipe thread? I'd make it but now I have all the fixin's for more meatballs (I have an extra onion, lots of parsley, garlic and breadcrumbs) and no fixin's for chili. But I could use a good chili recipe for the future.
