Sounds like this is something I'll have to buy the first of the month (after I get paid & before I spend all my $ on un-important things like rent, cable, food, etc. Or perhaps it should be rent, food, cable.

Thanks for that Desertway. I should be hearing something from Hollywood shortly. Thanks for giving the book a try ould, and cathbyb, I look forward to your review.

One of the reasons I wrote the book was there doesn't seem to be a great deal of understanding amongst the general public as to the disease, difficulty empathizing in those rare cases in which a paranoid schizophrenic becomes violent (e.g., the Andrea Yates case in Texas) so to live inside the head of a person with PS, and who is at times psychotic, I'm hoping is instructive.

I finished your book and have left a review on Amazon. I gave you 5 stars. I love mysteries but I all too often find that I have figured it out by the time that I am half way through. Not this time. You did a great job of keeping me guessing.

It is very apparent that you put a lot of research into the learning about paranpoid schizophrenia. The lead character stayed consistant and true to the behaviors of that disease.

Per chance will there be a sequel? I love Angus and would love to see him solve another mystery!

Great job. I look forward to your next novel.

Thanks so much for the review, Cathy, and I'm so glad the character met your expectations considering you've had personal experience with PS via your family.

I don't have a sequel in the works. There is a potential for a series here though.

FYI, I do have another (co-written) book for the Kindle, "Frame-Up," which is not a sequel to "Crack-Up" though. We haven't got it available elsewhere just yet. Right now I'm writing a Gothic historical thriller set in New York City circa 1919.
