I was wondering if it was an April Fools thing at first. The invoice emailed to me confirms the price charged to me at $19.99, however. Good price, but it was really the integrated book light (sold separately) that decided me. The ones I have are too awkward and a pain to carry along with me.

I ordered the purple one. I figure it's the most girly color, and probably the least popular. I'm ever a sucker for the underdog.

I'm not loving the 4-corner strap placement as shown in the photos. I know the switch placement is tricky, so I can't bash them for covering it... but...
If they had put the leather corners on the outer (right) edge and the elastic ones on the inside edge, wouldn't it be easier to operate the switch?

Perhaps if you rotate the cover 180 degrees so the cover opens to the right (asian style)...

BTW If you didn't get the M-Edge light with the cover and want it later, bestbuy.com has them for $19.99 (it's the same as the one for the Sony Touch - not the Sony Pocket).

Can someone who has the "official DR800 cover from IREX" post the picture/manual to show how these two lock holes work with this cover?

M-Edge cover adds almost a whole inch to the width of DR800! I understand that they want to be able to fit the light in there, but this makes the device quite less portable. It would be nice to see a similar cover that just fits (and protects) the device, with minimum size.
