iTunes 9.1 available now with book "support"
The new version of iTunes is available and has a new book folder in the Library. I can add an ePub (non-DRM), and in grid view see the cover under "Books", with all my Audiobooks in another section. The cover looks nice, but if there is a way of getting to page 2, it is currently eluding me!

Well I read them on Kindle for Mac, or the Sony Reader application. It does seem to be a bit of an omission! Also, it continues down the path of iTunes being the hub of all syncing activity, rather than a music jukebox. I think that is a bit like bloatware - and I am an Apple fanatic!

Arg! I think I am going to have to wait until I know about the jailbreak for the iPhone


EDIT: What the heck am I talking about! I forgot that I can install it on Windows 7 (under Parallels) and try it out that way
