a frosty morning, some ice on the ponds which will do the frog spawn no good at all. otherwise dry and sunny, but SNOW forecast for tomorrow!!!!!

Storms, wind, rain, hail, tornadoes -- last night, today, and tomorrow!
Then sunny & in the 80's by the weekend. Ahhh... spring in the Carolinas.

Grey. Utterly, utterly grey. It's never got brighter than "a couple of hours before dark" all day. Thinking about it, that might be why I'm feeling under the weather today

Once again I have a lake in my backyard. We've had a superabundance of rain this year, and this morning it was topped off by a thunderstorm. Funny thing is; precisely one minute before my wife was due to get up, a major thunderclap jarred her out of bed—not to mention that it scared the bejeebers out of Norton! And my ex-DIL was dreaming about being on the verge of having an auto accident when the thunder woke her up.

The good thing is that all the garden preparation I began last Fall seems to be paying off. The vegetable garden is one of the few spots in the yard that isn't flooded.

Been up a hill in Wales with the cloud line definitely below me

I missed it by a heartbeat tonight. I guess I was right to choose the "long" way home, the one with one more train change but less walking.

I just got caught in a torrential downpour while walking the dog. Plus, the wind was blowing the rain almost parallel to the ground. We got soaked through. My clothes are in the wash, including my underwear.

There is now some thunder.

Spring has sprung! No more rain - for at least a week! Sunshine! Temps up to 90 by Friday! Some green stuff actually seen growing in the mud plain that used to be a lawn last year.
