iLiad iLiad with pdf?

I might be going to buy an iLiad v2. How does it do with eBooks in pdf formats?

Quite well actually, the zoom works really nicely and the screen is big enough for my eyes. Which aren't the best (-3.5 or so).

I always have recommended iLaid as THE unit for PDFs. In the meantime, there are similar solutions, but still no better ones in my opinion.
iRex 800 may be equal after the firmware update, we have to see. BeBook Neo/Onyx Boox is even as well, but has a (significantly) smaller screen.
Que and Skiff may be similar, we'll have to see.
And of course you still can go for iRex 1000S.

My experience with PDF's on the iLiad:

On the iLiad PDF's work the fastest -- both in loading and navigating -- compared with other filetypes. And when properly formatted they also look the best.

I format all books(fiction) for my iLiad in OpenOffice, based on a custom template and then I export them to PDF.

When I just got my iLiad I loaded a few dozen PDF's on it, but some took ages (several minutes) to load. After a few resets I got so annoyed with those I decided to create everything with OpenOffice (which produces the fastest PDF's) and I've been a happy reader ever since.

Some of those bad PDF's I fixed. I remember they had to do with multiple images on one page (Baen-pdf's for example). So I removed those pages with Adobe to make them work.
