I'm quite envious of some European countries that have 4-6 weeks vacation every year! Most civilized! [Except when everyone decides to go to the beach on the same weekend.]

Yes and No. It depends on the company policy....as I was saying, at my old company it was all combined to use as needed. At my current company it is not so you sometimes have to play along.

You're talking about rich people or some with statute. The laboring types like me get nothing. And if we miss work more than a few days we can get fired.

You get opposites in any country. It all depends on which side of power you are.
