Obviously because of the Kobo. I'll take bluetooth and larger screen for $50 less, thanks. Plus from what I've seen, it's a lot faster.

apparentlyour target and walmart never got that memo. They were selling for $229/$234 (the prices within 6 inches of each other didnʻt even match) and $199 respectively as of 4/3 and 4/2.

nah, I literally mean that the two different prices were posted within 6 inches of one another. One was next to the reader, one was just below the reader. They were $5 apart.

I just received my PRS-300 in the mail.

What a nice little device and a big thanks to the lady I purchased it from via eBay. Total cost was AU$194 including postage.

Now I feel like I am one of the "in crowd"

I was at my local Wal-Mart today and they had the Sony PRS-300 for $148 (regular price).

Don't know if it's just unique to this Wal-Mart (Canandaigua, NY) - but if you're interested in a PRS-300, I'd try Wally World again...

Just FYI.
