I'm watching the budgies flirting with each other. In a few minutes they'll both wake up properly. Kaz will remember that she hates Pig and start biting his toes. We go through this routine nearly every day. They're awfully cute while they're playing nicely.

Speaking of voting....our congress is supposed to actually vote on the Health Care Bill today. I think and hope it will pass but I'm sadly disappointed that it has been gutted of the so called 'public option' that really was the cornerstone in my mind, many other provisions have been compromised as well but maybe if we can get it in place then adjustment for the better can be made.

The ultra-cynical part of me is half expecting Brown to announce that holding an election now would be a grave security risk, therefore there won't be any until some undefined future point when the situation is safer.
