Width: ~6.70", Height 8.75", Spine 0.75" (distance between stitches on either side of the spine).

Edit: 17cm* x 22.5cm x 18mm

*depending on if you compress the spine

Ok, the m-edge one is looking good, but I think the people that like to manually put their device to standby are going to be annoyed. Perhaps if it were rotated...

Only three color choices compared to the ones for other devices: black, brown, and purple. I would have preferred the two tone cream one. I would have preferred the canvas color over the leather...

I wonder if they supply a bent paper-clip to get at the power button, which it looks as though you will need, and which is fiddly at the best of times.

They got it covered.

Not sure how they will solve this. They will need a particularly wide corner piece with possibly a cut-away for the switch and usb port. Or they can connect both corners with a cutaway opening like the nook covers:

On the M-Edge site, the Executive Jacket covers appear to be available for purchase. Price is $19.99 and is said to ship in 1-3 days.

The price seems to be half of similar covers for other devices. For example, the Sony Daily Edition Executive Jacket covers are the same three Leather colors but go for $39.99.

I see no update in the screenshots to show better access to the power switch...

Thanks for the heads-up. I've emailed the to ask of the fixing method is actually that shown in the pics - I'll post if/when I get a reply. Still, for 20 dollars I might just get one anyway.

Thanks, badbob! I find that I can't use the iRex cover for reading. With the cover bent back the cloth-covered cardboard feel is kind of like a chalkboard sensation for me. Just can't do it. For twenty bucks this is worth a try -- I like the interior lining, what it looks like it'll feel like. Crossing my fingers.

Got the integrated book light while I was at it.

For buyers of the M-Edge covers, please specify the color you're getting. I'm not really loving any of the colors (black, purple, brown), but I suppose brown may look the most natural. Too bad there is no Red option like with the prototype photos.

At first I thought it may be a price mistake but I see the same cover for the PRS-700 on sale for $15.00 (so they are definitely not cutting their own throat on this). But this is not the first time I've see people stick something into their cart, wait until the end of the day to checkout, and then find the price corrected.

Then again, isn't the PRS-700 with the much hated screen?

Certainly ordered one right away. Cannot expect it to be any lower, well ok they might make it 17.95 sometimes

. I had one for my sony 500 it is still the best looking cover.
