One question: Why are you so sure the Druids were a peaceful, enlightened group? I thought everything pertaining to their rites were destroyed or lost. And that most of the people running around claiming to be Druids now are unmedicated eco-nuts. Given the time they existed in, the reputation of the Celts and the fact that the smaller, bowl shaped Druid stones now used as baptismal fonts in churches built over Druid holy sites are clearly blood stained, it doesn't sound right. The "good old days" sucked. The "noble savage" is a total fabrication. They were probably just another Pan/satyr cult with some stone working skills and a fetish for plants. I've seen their "Earth Mother" images. Not nice.
