Any other faculty I know discards the pre-degree (no one cares about it in my faculty too. You have to pass, no one is interested in the marks). But this one faculty .. well, they are special.

I hope .. there is a possible problem there (officially I'd be switching from "not having a degree" (first time student) to "having a degree" (second study) between the application and the begin of the study so it *might* be possible that I'm not admissible to the new study with an (then invalid) first-time-student-admission. But thats bureaucracy for you .. (and no, I cant apply for a second-time-student-admission prior to officially finishing my first study).

Man, that sounds "typisch deutsch".
Hopefully you'll get the enrollment in october!

Amen, Amen, Amen, and AMEN!!!!!!!!!! Now that I've wholeheartedly agreed, let me just point out that it's not usually the authors that are at fault here. It's the publishers. If you want to blame the authors for something, blame them that most of them haven't got a clue what their contracts say in regards to ebooks. Or much of anything else. Don't get me wrong here, I love authors (what reader doesn't?), and I'm friends with a whole bunch of them. But it never ceases to amaze me just exactly how little most of them know about those contracts they signed.

farking doctors!!!! I have a prescription cream that it takes 48 hours to make. I called it in on Monday and then today called the pharmacy to ask if it was ready. they hadn't heard back from the Doctor's office!!! when I called the doctor's office I get put on hold so they can pull my chart, then the nurse comes back on with "we'll get that taken care of right away!" so you KNOW they stepped in it!!!

called in pain killer scrip last night. this morning nothing has been done on it. called the surgeon's office and his nurse gets on the line "well you filled you percocet prescrition on Monday." me: "no I filled my VICODIN scrip on Friday (HUGE difference in the two). she then lectures me that I am taking too many and says she will talk to the Doc in the am. I go and look at my scrip... sure enough take 1 to 2 every 4 to 6 hours. quantity 60. unless I'm completely mistaken, taken at the high end (which I pretty much do as I have the constitution of an elephant when it comes to pain meds... morphine won't work for instance), that scrip is good for FIVE days. I'm already a day over refill allowance.

I guess this is more farking pharmacies and meddling/under achieving nurses

Don't know yet. I only followed it on track and trace. And since they don't deliver it to my home address after being through customs I assume a hefty amount of money has to change hands before I get my hands on it.

Probably something like this:

Vat: +25%
Toll: +10 %

handling fee: around 25$.

So all in all: probably around 100$ extra for the device I paid 250$ for.
