Emmm... yes, I see what you mean

I hope it's still understandable... To clarify, the hazelnuts should not be whole but ground to powder

You know, I always thought this was a German recipe, because the grandmother of the family I stayed with a few times in Kaiserslautern when I was a teenager used to bake these. Maybe you can find the original recipe, if you are a German speaker.

Tom, I'm so sorry about your Kindle. I know I would be devastated if anything happened to my Sony.
Thanks. The new K2 that I ordered yesterday morning just arrived. It's charging now. Fortunately, I have backups of everything, and I was even able to copy the contents of the broken K2's hard drive, so all my bookmarks and notes should be intact.

in the Army they call it a dummy cord. anything you are likely to drop literally gets tied to you one way or another

After a visit to the hospital, bf and I went climbing Mont St-Grégoire. We thought it would be a piece of cake, since it's the smallest mount in our area, only 251 meters... It's an incledibly steep mount, and the way consisted of either shaky steps or piles of rocks... it's lucky we are both still breathing!

From the top, we could see Vermont mountains, it was really beautiful.

Great pictures, Verencat. Those crumbly rocks in the third image look rather treacherous. The views look amazing. Well done to both of you to get to the top!

I hope your dad was doing well, Vcat.

What a beautiful day for a "short climb". Beautiful pictures of the area view, thanks for posting them.
It's so windy here that it almost blows me over with some of the gusts.

You know, I always thought this was a German recipe, because the grandmother of the family I stayed with a few times in Kaiserslautern when I was a teenager used to bake these. Maybe you can find the original recipe, if you are a German speaker.
I actually read the recipe in my mother tongue (thus I was able to enjoy all the funny parts, without missing something due lack of language knowledge) , but I guess all translations are more or less the same.
I'll try to find some German version. Then I can give you the link and you could laugh at the French translation.
