The v5 firmware files on both theezreader.com and astak.com appear to be the old, 11 December 2009 version. Just sayin'... |

				Emails not answered yet
			 Quote:
They have two emails so far. They are waiting for the link to be done. Today is a Friday and we are all doing 20 things at once. Fridays are endless putting out of fires. We have another 200 resumes to plow thru for the Intern Position, we are calling in 7 people for the first interview, we have to standardize the questions forr the interview, the new eBook website needs more changes, and we are waiting to contact Taiwan over the wesbite changes. Plus we are assessing a new device and doing final approval of a new device packaging. Essentially we are all trying to get everything done before the weekend so people in Taiwan and China can work all weekend and get things accomplished for us. Ruby will try to get the link done in between two meetings. I do apologize for the delay.

Robert, This complexity just proves the Web site is wrongly done. FTP can be launched from a simple Web Page with out all the problems and fuss. Browsers all know how to deal with a FTP:// URL (save file in default location, Optional: ask where) K.I.S.S. |

				Agree... website badly done!!

Yes, it is obvious to me also that this website needs to be a whole lot easier and a lot less complex. My own people cannot correct or add to it and they should have that functionality. Things like this make me very frustrated. We have to crank up the heat for improvement or a change. I am losing patience with bumbling and wasted time.

Come around 10:00pm or so is when I retire for the night and break out the Pocket Pro for a bit of "Seduction of the Innocent" (NOT porn, as I am sure some of yew know) or some good old Dr. Who! Was kinda hoping to read tonight with new firmware. ACK! I may have to wait another day or 30. |

Oooooooooh!!!!!!!! Where do you get the Doctor Who books?! Are they the free ones on BBC's site, or do you find them somewhere else? And are they from the classic series, or the new series? I'd love to find some Doctor Who books with the 10th Doctor (9th was good too, but gotta luv Tennant! I just hope Matt Smith is as good... oops, sorry for hijacking this thread... )... |

That said, I have *every* (and I mean *EVERY*) novelization of the classic episodes and that includes the three or four that were never officially novelized. So if yew have seen a classic (up to Dr. 7) episode, then I have the novel here. I also have the missing adventures, the new adventures, a bit of Sarah Jane, tons of BBC, etc. etc. The only ones I don't seem to have (and I wish I did!) are the Decalogs and the Short Trips. Like I say, I had a lot of this already, and I found I much preferred the ereader for it. All files are in PDF. As for what's on the BBC site, I really did enjoy the "Sands of Time" ...

Wow! I didn't realize there were so many of them! I've only seen a few of the classic episodes, but I've seen all of the new ones, from 2005. I didn't realize they had written novels to go along with so many of the classic episodes. That's really cool! I'll have to do a bit of looking and see what I can find. Thanks for the info! |

I am kinda opposite yew. I have seen the classics but very little of the new series. The only one of the new series I can remember watching is "School Reunion", which I thought was fantastic. Elizabeth Sladen looks great, and it was very good to see K-9 again! Not only that, it was also a great story!

School Reunion was a good episode! After watching that, my daughter and I saw the first season of Sarah Jane Adventures, and she really enjoyed those.
