				Hi everyone

Hi everyone. Just started reading on my iphone and love it. My book is always nearby and can be read anywhere. I have kindle, barnes and noble, and stanza on my phone so I can get books from several places. I hope I can figure out calibre so I can keep all my books in one location. My wife also has an iphone and we would like to share the books. We don't always have the same tastes but if we do I don't want to pay for it twice. Is calibre going to solve my problems?

![]() I'm not a Calibre user so I'm not able to answer your questions. If someone else doesn't answer them here in "Introduce Yourself", you might try a re-post in the Calibre forum.

Good to have your company, Riewis. Getting to know Calibre is a fine idea. It's simple and efficient. It was developed by a member of MobileRead (Kovid) and many of us are much happier with it than with other library software options.

You picked a good time to join us. You're just in time for the last couple of days of Read an Ebook Week (it ends at midnight, Pacific time on Saturday March 13) and there are several free offers and generous deals on site. For instance, follow the link in my signature line below and stock up on up to twenty five-novels in any format. Pay what you like (including nothing at all). Best wishes. Neil |

One thing that will help is if you avoid DRM products...not sure Calibre can convert or move a file if it's protected, so if your question is - can you share Kindle content from - say - Amazon that way...I don't think so. Not that I know of, anyway.

Welcome to the forum, though. You'll find plenty of books to share. Our CFO here at the office has downloaded a couple of my books to his Iphone, and he said it works very well. David |

Hi rlewis60 and welcome to MobileRead. I have a Sony 505 and an iPhone and tend to buy my books from Kobo as they are compatible with both devices.
