Sure. I still read the post after reading the negative title (benefit of doubt one) and I continued to read with every negative comment (multiple benefits of doubt). I kept reading but read nothing the changed my initial impression.

What a way to join a new community.

Our Mileage Does Vary in this case.

I wonder if he/she did seek out how to get library books on the device. Just said "Done"
I assumed (my mistake) that he/she thought their post was a polite request, and they didn't go any further. This group has made me feel very much at home, and I hope I have appeared grateful for everything (including discussions on the ethics of removing DRM from library books). What I like best is MRs will go out of their way to get you help. Someone even got a certain key for me when Vista was giving me fits.

Well I am not sure if GalinAZ got the answers he/she was expecting. But probably did learn a valuable lesson. Do not post anything on MR disparaging the Kindle without expecting the wrath of certain Kindle owners.

If you cared to look you might see the same responses in other device forums as well, so it's not about disparaging the Kindle. I can link you to a similar type thread in the Sony forum.
