Elsevier

I hope someone can help me with this. I want to have a recipe for Elsevier (a dutch magazine); I added the RSS feeds however the pages are dark. These are the most important feeds they provide:

It's working for me: El Pais (with English translation).

Hi,
Yes, for me works El Pais also, but my message was for the 20min.ch recipe. :-)

Hmmm ... it does work for me unter Debian unstable x64, Calibre versions 0.6.38 and 0.6.44, in EPub and in LRF.

Is the error just in this articel (article_7) or in the other ones, too ?

It would be nice if we had Ebert on Calibre.

http://rogerebert.suntimes.com/

It would be good for those who like to read Ebert reviews.

Problem with comics.com

I remain eternally grateful, and don't know if the issue is something with me/my device, or that today was Sundays, but the comics are clipped off on the right hand side . Tried changing the orientation and they are bigger, and still clipped off. Will try again tomorrow to see if the dailies fare better!

What version of Calibre are you using?

I read on the PC, and 2 WinMo platforms. The WinMo platforms have 2 readers that handle epub. The PC and one of the 2 WinMo epub readers see all the comics. The other epub reader (called HTC Reader) cuts off the right side. The epub reader I prefer will let me rotate the book, and that makes the comic full screen. It seems to be reader dependent.

I've downloaded your zip file and uploaded it to Calibre, but I don't know what to do next. Ideally, I'd be able to grab every Calvin and Hobbes strip ever created, but I'll take what I can get. Would you please tell me what I need to do to get these on my Kindle?

Thanks in advance!
I didn't see Calvin and Hobbes on Comics.com. It's not in my list of comics.com that are listed in my recipe. For those that are listed:

1. Click the arrow next to the main Fetch News button,
2. Click Add a custom news source,
3. Click the Switch to Advanced button
4. Delete everything in the window that appears,
5. paste in my Comics recipe,
6. then click the +Add Update Recipe Button, and
7. Click the Close button

The custom recipe will now be available in your normal list of recipes under Custom.

You can choose the comics you want in step 5 above.

Calvin and Hobbes (and a bunch of others) are apparently on GoComics

Not that I'm asking, or even suggesting, that you create a similar recipe for that site. I'm just pointing it out for general information.
