I hope other cover manufactures use similar binding methods and not the dr800 indent holes.

It's actually not that bad the way it is. I can hold the cover with it resting in one hand around where the spine is, and reach the flipbar with my thumb. That's the way I did it with my iLiad too. Of course, I used to hold paperbacks and turn the pages one handed as well, so I was already used to it.

I guess I have small hands or at least in the thumb department. I also wouldn't want to stress the device and it's glass screen too much at any small localized area such as the corners.

This looks like a beauty. Just did the currency conversion on thier website and it's about $60 US plus it looks like 3% tax I think. Is there anybody who can translate Korean to confirm? They also have covers for a lot of other devices.

But now, when checking out and focussing on it, I see what you mean.
Tested a comic, which I've generated some time ago for iRex iLiad. The tool I've used was optimising the b/w contrast. Here in some pages the banding becomes pretty obvious. I can imagine, for the "wrong" document this can be pretty annoying.
Is it doing it with the grey bar at the bottom as well? The weird thing I notice is that the more dynamic the content (larger contrast between regions on a page-flip), the less banding I see. Areas of solid color that tend to stay that way between pages band more.

The ironic thing is that the banding doesn't seem to be as big a deal on my own comics.

No, I barely see it at the bottom (grey bar). I have it with my own books though. Exactly as you describe.
Someone stated, it would be a compromise between time for turning pages and refresh. I'm not sure about that. Cybook Opus since the firmware update has spectacular speed for turning pages, so do both Kindles. But I don't see that effect there. Maybe somewhat related to the touchscreen? On the other hand, I don't see it (nor the ghosting) on BeBook Neo.
It's not enough to really "kill" the experience. But once you've recognised it, it remains obvious.

I just ordered a custom sized cover from Renaissance Art Leather Journals. They will custom size a cover to your specific dimensions and I'm going to make a bracket to utilize the pin holes. I'll post pics once I'm done, but their leather looks great in the pictures and the price shipped was about $43. They've apparently experimented with a few ebook covers, but they weren't satisfied with the look with the corner straps or velcro solutions. Should take me a few days to get the cover and figure out a bracket.

That 3% is for point rewards. Price tag in Korea almost always includes tax. There is no additional shipping fee when shipped domestically, but no mention about international shipping. I doubt they've ever received an international order.

It shouldn't have anything to do with the touchscreen, that's underneath the visible eInk layer.

Well, it's expensive, but it's not so bad and it doesn't look cheap or fragile.
