my mother regularly does that and tries to pass it off as coffee. she doesn't really use tea, but her brew is so weak that most ice tea is darker than her coffee, so I always call her coffee tea. I also have a french press that I leave there so I can make real coffee!

i never heard it and logically i would think that it would be the opposite, since it would move the tea leaves around and give the water more access to them, but what do i know...


currently in my cup : ginger and garlic tea with lemon and honey. i'm not feeling so great today.
