Thanks Marcy.

As a non-drm ebook junkie, I'm rather disappointed that nearly all FW new releases this week are without excerpts. How do I base my buying decision on..? Just a brief publisher's summary isn't going to enough. I need to taste the writing style.

If this is going to be the trend at FW, I'd be buying fewer ebooks from FW for sure.

If the blurb isn't enough for me to give a book a try, I usually go over to amazon and see if it is available there. I can then read any reviews and if it is available for Kindle I can read an excerpt.

However, I have to say most ebooks I want are drm'd. I simply strip the drm and if they're not already epubs, convert them.

Thanks for the tip-off, picked up Galileo's Dream by Kim Stanley Robinson for $7.65 after rebates and discounts. Very handy. It is $22 at Waterstones!
