We've got a cold front scheduled with another two or three inches of snow, maybe. Then in about a week, it's going to be light jacket weather! (32 F 0 C and not quite so blustery...)

Do you get a lot of people with seasonal affective disorder in Wisconsin then, pshrynk? You do give the impression that near-perpetual winter is the norm. And that must be a bit enervating (though perhaps useful for generating a steady stream of patients).

Most of the immigrants around here are Norwegian and German with some left-over French from when the area belonged to Louis XVI. They are prone to Seasonal Mood Disorder genetically. (As are the Irish.) So, yeah, we get a lot of business around this time of year.

Even my cats have spring fever. They've gone back to yowling at the front door to be let out on the enclosed porch the second we get out of bed. We keep telling them it's still cold out, but they only give us that feline stare that means, "So, fix it!".

This is the time of year I really start having problems with farking winter. I'm ready for spring...but it's about a month away, here. It's 27 degrees F, and I'm longing to open windows....

*sigh*
