Hello from Bahia, Brazil

Hello from Brazil to all readers of mobileread.com forums.

My name is Celson Aquino and I live in Salvador, a city on the northeast coast of Brazil and the capital of the Northeastern Brazilian state of Bahia.

My native language is brazilian portuguese and, since I am a English language self learner, please sorry for all my grammatical and orthographic errors.

I just bought an ECATCO jetBook and I am waiting for it to arrive. While I'm waiting for it, I'm reading several posts here in mobileread in order to learn more about the product by the opinions of other owners.

Celson

Yeah, there's an orthographic error: ortographic should be orthographic .
I am not a native English speaker either, but I think your English is excellent.

Unfortunatelly I cannot find too many titles in brazilian portuguese. Most classics I can find are in portuguese of Portugal, that is a lot different, even more than the difference between british english and american english.

Just like what happened with England and the United States, Brazil was a colony of Portugal from the landing of Pedro Álvares Cabral in 1500 until its independence in 1822. So, we have the heritage of the language but, just like what happened in USA, we speak "our own" portuguese here.
