Hi, everyone!

I just got back from the doctor's where I was lucky enough to see pictures from my surgery. Yuk! There are somethings a person should never have to see and the inside of your own body is one of them. She asked me if I wanted a copy of the pictures and I did consider it to use as guilt makers for the kids considering all the problems the surgical team had was directly related to their births, but I decided that was going a bit over the top even for me.

The doctor tells me I'm doing very well considering the complexity of what should have been a routine surgery. I should start feeling more like myself in the next few days (although I am still limited on the amount of housework I'm allowed to do ~ hallelujah ). I do intend to milk the sympathy factor a little longer but am starting to go a little "stir crazy" (recovery from surgery and 3 feet of snow will do that to a person) so won't be able to hold out too long.

Thanks again for all your kind words and thoughts. It really does make a difference and I feel so blessed to have you all on my side.

I got the pictures from my fibroid tumors. they're actually pretty, look like big puffy pink clouds! when my son came home I showed it to him and said "Look! you used to live here!" he was not amused when he found out what it was
