It would have been great if they had made Mission Impossible into a movie, complete with cameos from those former cast members who are still alive. Instead, Hollywood gave us The Tom Cruise Show and thought no one would know the difference.

AFAIK, it hasn't been definitively canceled... yet.

My list would include - Wonderfalls, My So Called Life, Pushing Daisies, Reaper, Dead Like Me, Eastwick.

I guess these aren't necessarily "best" but I do wish they were still around.

I've never heard of Leverage, but I don't have cable or satellite, and rarely watch my wife's 13" TV. I'll have to see if any episodes are online.

Yes, the original MI was awesome—especially those early episodes with Barbara Bain and Martin Landau. I was a huge fan of Landau's disguises.

As much as I like other things he's done, I never cared for Leonard Nimoy's role on the show when he joined the cast. Having recently come from playing three seasons as the non-emotional Spock on Star-Trek, it seems he was anxious to show he could play an emotional character. There's certainly nothing wrong with that, but I always felt that Mission Impossible was the wrong show to showcase emotion.

Firefly obviously. I tried watching Nathan Filion in Castle, but it hasn't clicked with me yet.

Angel. Very sad when it got canceled. But thank goodness David Boreanaz is in Bones, love that show.

Stargate Atlantis. I think they made a big mistake canceling it to make a new Stargate spin off. When oh when is the TV movie going to come out??

There's a halloween episode of castle where he dresses up as a "space cowboy". It's a little funny. There's also a hilarious nathan fillion/firefly series (where he gets into an electric skateboard race) on xkcd that you might like. I'll try and dig up the url for the series later and post it.
