I've had that two years ago. You feel like you're empty and go running back again with atrocious cramps...

But there's once good thing though. The shot they give you before inserting the... object... Good stuff!

OH honey, you have my sincere sympathy. Chris was scheduled for one of those on Friday (prep Thursday) but since he now has a cold or a sinus infection, we postponed it for a month. I'm dreading it more than HE is.

Hmmm -- I had one three years ago, and I don't remember a shot. They just put you out completely, here. This time I'm even going to get propofol (the stuff that MJ liked so much he took it home with him). Is that what your shot was for? loopiness and numbing?

Yeah, the prep (innard ream-out) is worse than the actual procedure! Nothing to dread really -- just the day before.

The shot just made me feel totally out if it - loopy and numbed as you say. I was certainly not totally unconcious though because I recall watching the pictures that were being transmitted back to the TV screen.
