Here's a rant.

You know what would improve e-mail 100,000 million trillion kazillion percent? Outlaw that damned FORWARD button!

I am so sick of e-mails in size 2,000 font with RED and BLUE ALL CAPITAL LETTERS and 100 jpeg attachments, spewing mostly numb-skull political garbage with instructions that "If you love Jesus and our soldiers, pass this along to 100,000,000 of your closest friends."

There's so much worthless trash out there, it's a wonder how the servers handle it all.

What makes these idiots think they have even one idea worth sharing, must less clogging valuable bandwidth?

And, to be fair, I get tons of them from good friends. Friends who are only 'trying to "share the love".

I just delete and move one. I've already lost a couple of friends who took offense at my gentle "please don't send me any more of this" replys.

I'm no longer worthy of their emails. Oh darn.........

WTH? Sure I did some heavy downloading, but only during the 11 - 4 window where there is no limit. Then suddenly at 4 it says I've used up my daily bandwidth? Ugh, HughesNet you are ******* worthless.

HughesNet? Really? I didn't know anyone used that?

I considered it at one point what that seemed to be the only high-speed internet access available to me....

I would ask how it's working for you, but I think I know.

Yes there is now. It is a pretty new option... should be in the "Thread Tools" menu.

Yes, I also try to be nice and ignore those posts. I've also discovered through experience it does no good to complain. Either you lose a friend or they ignore your complaint and keep forwarding the crap anyway.

Oh, well. Felt good to vent about it, and I suppose that's what this thread is for.
