Trying, with minimal success, to transcribe the Four Post Story, into one - I've had a few chuckles remembering some of the earlier entries ......

Just need to get everyone to SLOW DOWN a mo - I've only made the end of December !!!!!!!!

Just enjoying life. The best thing about being jobless is that I don't have to go out on Saturday to shop for food and groceries. In fact I can just stay on my sofa all day in my dirty old sweatpants, reading a Queen Betsy book (just found out I had two more in e-book format) and eating chocolate. Can life get any better? I don't think so.

Oh, and also preparing to put my latest video on line

Just returned from hair cut & grocery shopping - checking MR & preparing to spend today reading with multiple furballs (aka kittehs) on my lap, vying for space with my DX.

Snow's almost all melted.

Preparing my Valentine's Day sad song play list. God damn but if all you lovey-dovey couples get to be happy tomorrow, then I'm going to make it my one day in the year for buckets o' sad.

Florence, right now I have just finished watching "Random Threads" at your website. It is so amazing. Watching the artwork change and develop is very stunning; it really comes alive! This is very clever and great to watch. How come the video of this art can be made without seeing your hand or any brushes, etc? This must have taken quite a lot of time to make. The music with it is great also. Thanks for putting it on your site.

This is all done digitally, I use a program called Studio Artist that has a great functionality allowing me to record a movie as I paint. In other parts of the video I used other, more complex functionalities, but it's not that hard to do, in fact I'm having a lot of fun

Florence, thanks for explaining about how you use a special artists' program. I never would have known it was digital; it looks very much like real paint being put on a canvas.

I also watched Video Study 2010-01 and enjoyed watching this, it is quite mesmerizing. I will have a look at the rest of the videos sometime soon. Very creative and artistic work! Glad you have fun creating these pieces. I have fun watching them, thanks.

I'm patiently waiting for my pain medication to kick in.

Seriously, I wanted to let you all know that I am doing well from my surgery on Wednesday. We did have to drive through yet another blizzard that dumped an additional 8 inches of snow on top of the 30 inches we already had to reach the hospital Wed. morning and what was supposed to be a relatively straight forward 1 to 1 1/2 hour procedure took 4 hours but otherwise everything went smoothly. I know that there has been a lot of debate about the US healthcare system but in my case, it's been nothing but great. My doctor went above and beyond to do what was best for me and my recovery and not what was easiest for her. They did kick me out of the hospital after only one day, which made me a little nervous, but I was very glad to be home and in my own bed. Although, I am sure my family is getting awfully tired of running cups of tea up to me.
