I use it the same way, but I've changed my Location box (in Firefox) so that instead of doing an "I'm feeling lucky" Google redirect if you I type a word or phrase into it (i.e. The default action), it gives you the Google search results. Good for quickly doing conversions or searches after CTRL-Ting a new tab (which places you in the Location box), and let's you change the Search box to something else or (as I've done, because I like limited menus/buttons) remove it altogether.

that WAS thunder !!! i heard it, and i thought to myself "that's odd, that really sounded like thunder. no, it can't be..." we had a real snow tempest here yesterday about 11 o'clock, i think. giant snow, swirling around the courtyard. then it turned into normal snow, then it stopped. and when i came out of the circus last night it was snowing again, and la villette park was completely white.

Yep, Texas. Winter here came vary from -10C to +30C, sometimes as frequent as 24 hrs. Usually a burst of cold for a few days followed by a burst of warm for a few days. The further south you go the warmer for both of them. San Antonio, Texas, where I was raised averages 5C warmer than Dallas. Corpus Christi, Texas southeast of San Antonio on the Gulf Coast, where I was born, averages 8C warmer....

you can send it here, i like snow. and we've had a lot this year but not yet so much i'm sick of it...

(just not the weekend of the 20th, please ! that's the next meetup and i am hoping patricia can come, but she is still traumatised from her last trip...)
