pshaw.... I get all the time when out and about with my Newife. some iddy biddy dog parent will say "you better be careful, you're nothing but an appetizer", when in truth the iddybiddies are much more bitey and aggressive than our big giants.

back to the cat... yep incredible personality, and I did see some rescue groups posted.

How much did you pay? Do you have any pics yet? How are you and Strider getting along? Details, details! I heard they attach themselves to one person in the family and if you seperate them from that person they can get very sick and depressed.

I'd rather not say how much. just leave it at much more than the mall adoptions I am used to, but nowhere near the prices that many websites have!

I am getting used to some of hte oddities of his bahaviour, for instance, I cannot completely clean out his litterbox, I have to leave a poop or two or he goes nuts and will hold it! he "buries" his food dish. he's always dragging things into and over it. his vocalizations are REALLY impressive! he has something to say about a lot of things with a lot of different sounds. but this is not like a Siamese yowling if anyone is familiar with that.

I REALLY need to get my camera taken care of. I have a bunch of blurry shots of him sleeping is all right now

Sounds like you're seeing desert environment behavior (litter box oddity) or marking his territory. Ditto with food dish internment. This is typical big cat behavior in the wild. He is probably establishing his own territory in your house. Errr.... is he fixed? Wondering about aggression - at his size.

just plain old wild cat type behavior I'm guessin'. yep he's fixed! if the males are worth keeping intact then they are a pretty penny. as with many hybrids there are some sterility issues. as far as aggression goes, well, he's a pussy cat!
