I thought a panther, lions are more massive. This one is sleek! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Savannah_%28cat%29 |

I think in future Kindlekitten's Strider(?) should be referred to as her CAT! rather than her cat. They look beautiful. Cheers, Marc |

I've never heard of them either, they do look pretty. Almost as big, height if not weight, as our dog too!! Hmm, the wife has been wanting another cat.... Especially if they go for walks. Our daughter takes her cat for walks all time - it is an exercise in patience at best. Last edited by dsvick; 02-10-2010 at 09:32 AM. |

Congrats on your new CAT, kk. Looks a little like a cheetah with less dense spots and longer ears. Beautiful. At 6 months old is he close to fully grown?

I'm wondering how they get along with other cats though?

How big are his catnip mice? Or do you just throw chihuahuas into the yard and shout "Ready to Rumble?"

he met the geriatric ward last night (quite by accident), these are the older cats that live upstairs, with .... himself... they had him cornered behind the toilet lickety split and he was cryin' for his mama! Quote:
right now just the average "Frederico Ferret" stuffed toy from the store. he's checked out some of the dogs toys though. I got a deal since his original "mommy" had to back out of her purchase. yeah, they are spendy. especially when you aren't used to paying for cats... dogs, yes, but this is the first cat purchase

Everything, that is except his personality, he was great with the family, spent most of his time riding around on my shoulders. But, as soon as anyone came over, he ran and hid -no one ever saw him So, no Savannah for us unless it is a rescue or some other deeply discounted one! But they are definitely a consideration, sort of a cat/dog mix and the best of both.
