Yeah we're supposed to get 8-12 inches this time. I still can't believe VA is getting more snow than us. You go one hour south from here to Philly and the snow fall doubles. The Poconos (north) haven't gotten much of anything.

Today we are being blessed with 50 mph winds - bringing wind chills down to the very unpleasantly cold range. Fortunately all the snow went north (of NC). We had rain all day yesterday, so trees are going down all over (with their associated power lines).
I'm looking out my window, waiting for TOTO to go by.

Hah:

We had this thick of snow (half an inch?), and it stayed on for 25 long minutes... The forecast for tomorrow is -5°C... quite balmy for some of you people, I know.

We've got about a foot now. I tried to shovel, but my shovel is small and short (trunk shovel), and to top it off my front yard is really tiny, so even the little I did has now created a snow mountain in my yard. Sigh.

Has been snowing all day.....3-4 inches on the ground, the ground is not frozen so it melts while new snow piles on top, keeping the same 3-4 inches....

Somebody send me to Hawaii....
