Today and tonight in the dark? . . . Does that mean the sun won't be rising today? I'm glad you told me in advance. I would've jumped to the conclusion that my sundial was on the fritz and replaced the batteries for nothing.

A gazillion miles, VR? Where 'ya goin'?, Alpha Centuri? A helicopter wouldn't help you much anyway unless you took your own fuel supply. The AAA trip planner shows no service stations (or restrooms) on the second leg of that route. (Don't forget your GPS . . . wouldn't want you to take a wrong turn somewhere and end up in Noosa Heads, Oz by mistake.)

We had another 5 or 6 inches of snow last night which takes us to a seasonal total of 34 inches!! Ryleigh's loving it since she hasn't had school the last 3 days. I doubt they will have school tomorrow and because they are calling for more snow on Friday and Saturday, she may not have school all week. I love my daughter but she REALLY needs to go to school!

When Ryleigh was still in second grade, her teacher must have warned the kids about how hard third grade was going to be. Ryleigh came home and told me that she didn't think third grade at her school was a good idea and she wanted me to home school her. Since I can barely get her to pick up her room, I knew that wasn't really an option!
