I think Littlewood's Law may be more useful than Murphy's.

But it also has the BBC stamp of approval, judging by the statement at the bottom of the page:
"This is an amended version of an earlier story which included several examples of laws from the survey which we have been unable to verify, and these have been removed."

It seems they verified the 'stamp' law (and the pregnant woman one).

What If you put the return address for someone you dont like on a bogus letter, do the stamp trick, and drop off the letter in a public mail box?
