Ooooh sun! Greece has sunny skies for once. The first sun I see for any length of time since last Sunday. Now, go out and get some vitamin (whatever letter it is you get from the sun) or stay in and try finishing the mountains of work that await me? Decisions, decisions...

It's snowing, heavily, we have about 6 inches and 3-4 foot drifts - not bad for a forecast of 'light snow showers'.

Cold. Well, cold-ish. The low touched 32 F this morning and will again tonight. The number of nights we've been at or below freezing might be a record this winter. I will have to check that.

We got snow last night in tobacco country. Maybe 2 inches. Naturally, everything has been cancelled!

It has been snowing here since about 4 this morning. This is the most snow we have has in quite some time. It is pretty coming down. It is also the dogs first snow and he is just like a child. Gotta go out and play. Going to be bad next week trying to get to work. This is so unusual for this area. Have a godd day everyone. Mellina

Went down to the rivermouth. Tried to sneak a dog walk in before the next patch of downpour. Watched it coming in from the sea, decided to get back to the car, downpour beat us, got soaking wet in minutes, got into car, rain stopped.

The ex-TC Olga stuff isn't quite hear yet - these are the NEerly rains - but it's close:

moar snow .... now got some 4 foot drifts ....

snow plough (aka farmer tractor with plough) got stuck for a while on hill.

cut one car-width swath along road which has blind summits and bends, oh joy for two cars coming in opposite directions. snow piled at edge, prime for wind to drift, and no space to 'pull-in'.

took us nearly 3 hours to walk 3 miles, yesterday .....
