Vera was stunned. She had never seen a man as gorgeous as the one who had apparently stolen her dog. Tall, rangy build, well fitted jeans, Aviator cap at a rakish angle. She felt herself getting light headed. Then she remembered that he had her dog. Tucking her clutch purse under her arm, she advanced on the flyboy, murder in her heart.

Before she could take more than two steps, however, a man came out of the tournament room and shouted something in French that she couldn't quite get because of the accent. Everyone seemed to take this as the signal to let the tournament begin, so she turned toward the doors. Time later to get her dog back.

Idly, she wondered why she was bothering, though. The little bugger was always in need of a bath and the tendency to actually talk got annoying at times. And his bladder had to be the size of a pea, given the number of times she had to get up in the middle of the night to walk him.

And then there was the whole notion of getting undressed in front of a male dog. It had been bad enough when he couldn't talk, but now it just seemed disturbing.

Nevertheless, Vivaldi was her dog and by God, she would have him back!

Stepping over the prone, swearing form of the Chief of tables, she found her name on the board. Table Five. She took the tag and looked around for her seat.

I'm sure doggy VR is polite, and turns his back while Vera dresses. My doggy doesn't think to do this, but since he doesn't talk, it's not such an issue.

Leterrible had a lot of questions that needed answers but instead let himself be enchanted by the beauty of the journey.
Monstnmags issued another request to ...Adrian. The spheroid slowed, initiated a downward motion, decelerated its movement backward in time and started its course back toward the future.
A thick blanket of fog at least two miles thick approached to view and everything went gray for a long moment to suddenly reveal a glorious sunny sky and the outlines of a continent... ; no, a gigantic island.
The craft rose up over the jagged edges of a mountain range and descended to a valley that was the center of the island. And there was a city, a shiny city such as Leterrible had never seen or never imagined for that matter. From the movement of walking people, Leterrible estimated that time’s motion had slowed almost to its normal state. The time-craft slowed over a huge metallic dome and slowly sank down into it. Inside was a garden of luxurious growth peppered with ponds and fountains; and in the middle a pergola of glass.
The bubble touched down inside the pergola, a short distance from a young woman, concentrated, peering on a black tabloid with the word Sony engraved at its back. She was of simple demeanour dressed in pants and blouse with her hair loose.
The bubble burst to deliver Montsnmags and Leterrible back to the hold of time. The young woman looked up with no hint of surprise from the appearance of the two time travelers and said:

“ah, montsnmags, my dear friend! why do you always choose this precise moment to visit me? do you realize it’s the three hundred and twenty seventh time at the exact second? I can’t remember what the story i was reading is about and keep re-reading the same sentence all over, and pouf!there you are again!”

“Good day... my Queen!”, he said.

“yes, yes, you’ve said that a few seconds ago.”, she replied. “go on, who’s your host?”

“I wish to present you to... mister Leterrible.
Leterrible, bow to her Highness Queen Zelda of Mobilita Republica...”
